All about Miss Tyrrell: I am Miss Tyrrell (rhymes with Carole) I am so so EXCITED to be your teacher! It’s going to be a year full of a lot of learning and new adventures. I can’t wait to see what it has in store for us. I grew up in Shorewood, and attended Troy schools K-8 then Joliet West High School. After high school I enrolled at University of St. Francis first receiving my bachelor degree in psychology then decided to pursue the education field and received my master’s degree. This is my 212nd year teaching at Troy Heritage Trail. I have experience in both second and third grade. It’s exciting to teach in a district that has been a huge part of my life. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, my dogs Winston and baxter, taking walks, and relaxing. I love watching sports, especially the Chicago Blackhawks.
Life is a gift, and I wake up with the goal to keep a smile on my face and positively influence all those around me. Teaching is my passion, a gift! I look forward to each year and the new faces and personalities.
